CompoCam is a camera with a live compass on top, and a map beside it. Every photo shows which way you were looking, how the phone was tilted and where you stood. The map shows what the camera sees, what ground is visible from your spot, and whether you have a clear line to a mast or a peak.
COMPASS CAMERA
• Live bearing, tilt and GPS coordinates over the camera picture, saved into the photo
• Hold it any way: upright or sideways, the reading stays correct
• Lay the phone flat for a classic compass; lift it and the camera comes back

• Shades the ground you can see from where you stand, using terrain data and OpenStreetMap buildings
• Set your height and the target height, for example a 10 m mast
• Terrain is downloaded once per area and works offline afterwards
LINK PROFILE
• The terrain between you and the target, with the line of sight and the Fresnel zone
• Clear, partly blocked or blocked, for frequencies from 433 MHz to 80 GHz
• Made for radio links, Wi-Fi bridges, antenna planning and ham radio

• Tap the base and the top of a building, tree or tower to get its height
• The distance comes from your map target, or type it in

CompoCam is free. Visible ground, link profile and height measurement unlock together for 60 minutes after one short video ad, only when you choose to watch it. In the free version, visible ground reaches 5 km and photos are up to 2 MP with a small CompoCam mark.

Your phone needs a magnetic sensor (magnetometer) for the compass. Accuracy depends on your phone’s sensors; calibrate by moving the phone in a figure eight. Terrain data is accurate to about 5–10 m and does not include trees.
