Ask your question, then shake your phone — 64 bamboo fortune sticks rattle inside a temple lot-holder with real 2D physics until one works its way up and pops out. That stick is your lot.
求签 (qiúqiān) is the centuries-old East Asian temple ritual of drawing bamboo lots — known as kau chim in Cantonese and related to Japanese omikuji. Qiuqian brings the full ritual to your phone: the sincere question, the shaking of the cylinder, the single stick that rises above the rest, and the reading that follows.
HOW IT WORKS
• Choose what to ask about: Love 姻缘, Career 事业, Wealth 财运, Health 健康, or your general Outlook 运势 — or take the Daily Lot 今日一签
• Shake your phone. All 64 sticks tumble with real physics — tilt the phone and they slide, shake harder and they leap. You’ll hear the rattle and feel every stroke
• One stick escapes the holder — your lot is drawn
• Read your fortune: the I Ching hexagram (one of all 64), its fortune tier from 上上签 Great Fortune to 下下签 Caution, the classic story behind the hexagram, a reading tailored to your question, and the original judgment text (卦辞)
• Share your lot with friends, or draw again
FEATURES
• Real physics: every stick is simulated — no canned animation. Tip the phone too far and the sticks spill, just like at the temple (draw with a calm heart!)
• All 64 I Ching hexagrams (易经六十四卦) with bilingual names, pinyin, stories, judgments, and per-topic readings
• Fully bilingual: switch between English and 中文 with one tap
• Daily Lot: one stick for your day
• Haptic feedback and authentic rattle sounds
• Beautiful temple aesthetic: lacquer red, gold, and bamboo
• Works fully offline. No account, no ads
Whether you grew up visiting temples at New Year or you’re discovering the I Ching for the first time, Qiuqian is a moment of calm, ritual, and reflection in your pocket.
