CO Examentrainer helps gas appliance engineers in the Netherlands prepare for the theory test of the Bewijs van Vakmanschap CO (CO competence certificate), both for first certification and for the renewal every 5 years. The app and its questions are in Dutch.
Independent: CO Examentrainer is not a government app and is not affiliated with Vakmanschap Techniek, InstallQ, any exam provider or certification body. The questions are written by us and are not real exam questions. In practice always follow the current standards, the CO action framework and the manufacturer’s instructions.
YOUR PROFILE
Choose your level (engineer or lead engineer), your route (first certification or renewal) and, for first certification, your discipline. The app shows the questions for your profile and sets the mock exam length to match.
PRACTICE BY MODULE
Questions on regulation and the CO system, carbon monoxide and health risks, combustion, air supply and flue systems, gas pipework, measuring and flue gas analysis, maintenance and faults, and CO detectors — each with an explanation.
MOCK EXAMS
Practise under time pressure and see where you still lose points.
CALCULATORS
Gas rate and heat input, flue gas analysis, the CO action framework and leak rate, with PDF export.
QUICK REFERENCE
Short Dutch field reference plus a Dutch–English glossary.
MY CO
Track your certificate’s expiry date and get reminders in time: renewal registration opens 6 months before expiry.
